About PTS06 Pan Tilt Units
Our PTS06 Positioners are two-axis, EL/AZ type (elevation over azimuth) Positioners or Pan Tilt Units and can be used for positioning of electro-optical sensors and small antennas. They manage to deliver high torque characteristics with low weight. Therefore, the PTS06 series are ultra-lightweight, approximately 7 kg, and capable of delivering torque up to around 18Nm, in other words, carrying an unbalanced payload (top-mount, assuming the mass center is on the top surface of the tilt table) with a mass of 36 kg.
These Pan Tilt Positioners have a capacity of delivering 4.5 – 18 Nm torque range and rotating at a speed range between 15-60 deg/sec depending on the model shown in the related datasheet. Please note that we provide speed range data in “loaded” conditions to clarify torque and speed characteristics. Our PTS06 Series Pan Tilt Units also have slip-rings for the continuous rotation of the azimuth axis and both axes have positioning accuracy within the range of ±0,03 degrees.
Moreover, please note that PTS06 pan tilt positioners are designed and manufactured to provide smooth operation, longevity, and reliability. Thus, they satisfy Military Grade Standards MIL-STD-810F Tests like operating and storage temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, and rain for validation in working in harsh environments.
